On the 12th of April, 2013, Civic Initiatives (CI) organized a consultative meeting, regarding the new Public procurement law, between representatives of organizations and institutions at the Human Rights House. According to CI, the implementation of this law can hamper CSOs to provide social, educational and other services, which can greatly endanger their work and affect the users of their services. The Institute for Democracy and Mediation has launched the 4th edition of their lecture series entitled “The World of Think Tanks” on the 30th of March 2013. “The World of Think Tanks” consists of twelve lectures focusing on the inner workings of civil society. Third Sector Foundation of Turkey (TUSEV) launched the Balkan Civil Society Acquis: Strengthening the Potential and Capacity of CSOs for Lobbying and Advocacy Project on March 29, 2013.
