From 17-19 September 2012, the representatives of 4 CSOs from Western Balkans attended a study visit in Brussels, as a part of the Slovak Balkan Public Policy Fund (SBPPF). The European Year of Citizens (EYC) 2013 Alliance is an informal European-level civil society alliance of over 40 European and regional networks to support the preparation and implementation of EYC by the Commission and other institutions. The 3rd Expert meeting on the Monitoring Matrix took place on 31 August 2012 in Skopje. The meeting brought together 7 experts from Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Slovenia and Bulgaria, to discuss the further development of the Monitoring Matrix for Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development (CSDev). The Experts revised the Matrix at the level of areas, standards and arrived at a consensus basis for the finalization of the document.
