On 29th and 30th September, 25 participants from all Balkan countries met in Zagreb to take part in a workshop on Global Education. The project Western Balkan CSOs for Global Development is implemented in cooperation of Pontis Foundation, Horizont 3000, BCSDN and members from Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. The EU European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations Commissioner Johannes Hahn had a meeting with civil society organizations in Skopje on Friday, 14th, prior to meetings with officials and political actors related to the political crises in the country and the forthcoming elections in December. Think for Europe Network (TEN) invites all interested civil society organizations to engage in the establishment and subsequent work of the regional consultative platform for monitoring public administration reform in the Western Balkans (WeBER Platform). Given that the selection process for overall membership will be carried out in parallel in Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Macedonia it is expected that the WeBER Platform will comprise up to 25 CSOs from the Western Balkan region.
