CNVOS from Slovenia won a lawsuit against the Ministry of Public Administration about the way in which the Ministry decides and justifies allocation of grants and tenders. According to the procedure by the Ministry, the applicants were not explained why they were assigned a certain number of points. In the context of the review of the European Neighbourhood Policy in May, the EU recognized the importance of developing policies to support civil society in Eastern Europe and the Southern Caucasus, by promoting the creation of a Civil Society Facility and a new European Endowment for Democracy. The Center for Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD), Bosnia and Herzegovina held a seminar on the drafting process and the application of principles of program budgeting for the members of the BiH Parliament on the 19th of September. On 12th September, Tanja Hafner Ademi, Executive Director held a networking session for the members of the Steering Committee of the Decentralized cooperation programme between the Region Lower Normandy (France) and Macedonia project in Ohrid, Macedonia. In a two-session intervention, BCSDN was presented as a model for networking and advocacy towards the EU and national authorities. Tanja Hafner Ademi, Executive Director has been elected the representative of the Civic Platform for Macedonia (CPM) to the National European Integration Council (NEIC). The elections were held on the invitation of the newly formed composition of the Council by the CPM. NEIC is a Parliamentary working body composed of Members of Parliament and representatives of interested groups (academia, civil society, journalists, religious communities etc.).
