Third phase of the “Philanthropy Infrastructure Development in Turkey” project, implemented by TUSEV and financially supported by Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, started in September 2015. In the third phase, covering the period between 2015 and 2017, TUSEV will continue to disseminate information on best practices in giving, encourage peer-learning among individual and corporate donors, and adapt new tools and methods to develop strategic giving. Moreover, the project aims to help advance grant programs, increase the capacity of CSO representatives and work with them to develop philanthropy within the field, and advocate for a more enabling legal and fiscal environment. Did you know that if you want to get access to public documents in Slovenia you will be charged EUR 1,500? For that reason, CNVOS supports the petition of Transparency International against charging access to public information. The Government sent amendments to the Parliament on the Law on Access to Public Information which amendments’ adoption would practically legitimize the charge for accessing public information, whereas the United Left Parliamentary Group filed amendments for the elimination of these charges. Foreign policy trend-setters in the Visegrad 4 countries say that the V4 should primarily focus on Eastern policy, migration, energy, energy security, and security, according to the results of the Association for International Affairs (AMO) survey. According to the respondents, the V4 should collaborate more frequently and extend its reach into other areas, yet they are dismissive of its deeper institutionalization or the accession of additional countries.
