On July 15th 2016, our member organization, Civic Initiatives had its annual Assembly meeting. Milan Podunavac, Vukašin Pavlović, Nada Korać, Nada Marinković, Rade Radovanović, Srđan Bogosavljević and Dubravka Velat, as well as CI management were present. Gathered members of the assembly are pleased with the results presented, having in mind the complexity of the current environment CI is operating in, compared to the time Civic Initiatives was established. On July 20th, 2016, the Office for Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations in Macedonia published the List of candidates according to the number of votes for members of the Council for Cooperation between the Government and Civil Society. During the voting procedure, a total of 192 CSOs submitted their votes, of which 128 were valid, 54 were invalid, while 10 votes were submitted after the deadline for voting. The Third Sector Impact released its 10th Working Paper “Assessing the Macro Socio-Economic Impact of the Third Sector in Europe”. In it, TSI coordinator Bernard Enjolras proposes a theoretical model for conceiving how the development of the third sector at the aggregated level may produce positive impacts for society by analyzing available data in order to find empirical support to his explanatory model however he does not address causality issues.
