Cenzura Plus from Split, in cooperation with the Association for Democratic Society, Zagreb is organizing a public debate on the 17th January 2012. The debate will focus on the European Union, how the accession will affect the rights and obligations of the living standards of Croatian citizens, opportunities and challenges of the future accession, as well as the upcoming referendum . The speakers will include: Ambassador Paul Vandoren, Head of the Delegation of the EU in Croatia, Dr. Neven Simac, president of the Center for European Research and Documentation – Robert Schuman and Ph.D. Dragan Markovina, a professor at the University of Split.
This tribune is part of the project “Bridging the Gap between the EU and Its Future Citizens” that Cenzura Plus (in collaboration with partner organizations, the European Movement Split, STINA and the Association for Independent Media Culture) and the project “Opportunities and Challenges of European Integration”, of the Association for Democratic Society (in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Development and the Centre for European Documentation and Research – Robert Schuman) which are bothimplemented under IPA INFO 2009, and funded by the European Union.
