CSOs grantees of the “Civica Mobilitas” programme, have formulated and submitted their proposals to candidates for the 2025 local elections, aiming to improve transparency, accountability, citizen participation, and the quality of public services at the local level, as well as to secure sustainable funding for civic initiatives. The proposals are based on the organisations’ experience working in local communities and cover a wide range of areas. The organisations call for greater and more systematic citizen involvement in decision-making through early-stage public debates, quarterly forums, functional councils, and online consultations, as well as clear procedures for responding to submitted initiatives. Additional measures are proposed for marginalised groups, education, health, gender equality, and the use of digital tools and open data to improve local governance and track the implementation of promises and projects.
