The Overseas Development Institute has published its Principled Aid Index 2020, which questions whether bilateral donors spend foreign aid to advance their values and interests. In response, the Index analyses and ranks 29 donor countries on how they use official development assistance to pursue their long-term national interest. The study comes at a crucial time amidst COVID-19 response and recovery, where the costs of disunity are particularly pronounced. Read more here.
