BCSDN members MCIC and CPCD are conducting surveys to monitor the enabling environment for CSOs in North Macedonia and BiH in 2025. The surveys are part of BCSDN members annual research cycle and the broader regional study on the enabling civil society environment, BCSDN flagship product, based on Monitoring Matrix methodology. The research aims to gather insights from CSOs on key aspects of the operating environment, including fundamental rights and freedoms, organizational and financial sustainability, and collaboration with state institutions. The study will help identify challenges faced by CSOs over the past year and support evidence-based advocacy to improve policies and practices affecting civil society. Complete the surveys for North Macedonia, and BiH by 3 February, and find the previous analysis on enabling civil society environments here.
