Short Description: A practical webinar exploring how national OGP processes can advance media freedom and civic space through legislative measures to counter SLAPPs. The event will discuss the impact of SLAPPs on democracy, the rule of law, and human rights, as well as the role of the EU Anti-SLAPP Directive and recommendations from the European Commission and the Council of Europe in shaping national legal protections.
