Short Description: THE:PLACE is a collaborative exchange and capacity-building programme aimed at strengthening cooperation between CSOs in Türkiye, the EU, and enlargement countries through participatory approaches, local democracy, and civic engagement. The programme focuses on enhancing CSO capacities for collaboration with local authorities, peer learning, project development, and international networking, with particular interest in initiatives related to climate adaptation, digitalisation, and citizen participation. Selected organisations will participate in networking, matchmaking, mentoring, coaching, and project implementation activities, including access to sub-grants for joint partnership projects.
Target Group: Civil society organisations, foundations, and non-profit cooperatives working on human rights, development, participation, local democracy, climate adaptation, digitalisation, and civic engagement.
Countries: Türkiye, EU Member States, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Ukraine
Location: Hybrid – online activities, Brussels (TBC), Türkiye and EU enlargement countries
