Target Groups: Legal professionals across the EU with at least two years of relevant experience, including lawyers in law firms or private practice and legal staff of NGOs, legal clinics and national human rights institutions.
Short Description: STARLIGHT 2.0 supports experienced legal professionals in using the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights more effectively for systemic change. Participants choose a thematic workshop on either democracy, rule of law and civic space or asylum and migration, as well as a skills workshop on documentation and evidence, advocacy or legal communication. The programme also includes expert-guided online clinics in which participants develop model legal arguments addressing key fundamental rights challenges.
Location: Berlin, Germany, with additional online activities.
