Target Groups: Young women aged 18–35 from across Bosnia and Herzegovina interested in democracy, civic engagement, gender equality and community action.
Short Description: Žene za Žene International invites young women aged 18–35 from across Bosnia and Herzegovina to join the 11th generation of the Democracy Academy for Young Women. The programme combines training on democracy, gender equality, elections, advocacy, communication, digital literacy and critical thinking with volunteering in a partner CSOs. Participants will also receive mentoring to develop and implement a local civic initiative and, upon completion, join the Academy’s alumni network.
Countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Location: Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with volunteering and local initiatives implemented in participants’ communities.
Duration: 2026–2027, including 6 modules and 17 training days, volunteering, mentoring and implementation of a local civic initiative.
