Short Description: The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is inviting applications for its 16th Civil Society Prize, dedicated to effective, innovative and creative initiatives combating poverty in the EU. The prize recognises initiatives that contribute to European identity, European values and European integration. Eligible initiatives must be non-profit and may be carried out by natural persons, CSOs or private companies officially registered in the European Union.

Location: Brussels, Belgium.
Amount: EUR 30,000 in total, to be shared among up to three winners.
Duration: Prize cycle runs from 9 July 2026 to 9 July 2027.
