Short Description: The European Commission Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood (DG ENEST) is inviting organisations to organise outreach and public engagement events that promote informed dialogue on EU enlargement and candidate countries. The call supports innovative events addressing topics such as the enlargement process, security, economic opportunities, business competitiveness, youth, culture and the benefits of enlargement. Priority will be given to initiatives taking place in rural areas and smaller towns, as well as partnerships between organisations from EU Member States and accession countries. Selected organisers may also receive support from Europe Direct Centres and Team Europe experts.
Countries: EU Member States (with particular focus on France, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Italy and Czech Republic), with partnerships encouraged with EU accession countries, particularly Albania, Montenegro, Moldova and Ukraine.
