The Humanitarian Accountability Report (HAR) 2026 is CHS Alliance’s flagship report assessing the state of quality and accountability in the humanitarian sector, with a focus on accountability to affected people (AAP) amid current funding constraints and the Humanitarian Reset. Drawing on sector-wide data, research, and practitioner insights, it identifies key trends, highlights persistent gaps and systemic challenges, and showcases progress and innovation, while offering practical recommendations to strengthen people-centred approaches. Developed through stakeholder contributions, evidence collection, and peer review, the report serves as both a reflection point and a forward-looking roadmap for improving how the humanitarian system listens and responds to crisis-affected people. HAR 2026 is expected to be published in July 2026. Read more here.
