The programme included the following discussions: Contract management; TACSO; People2People (P2P); Main issues for IPA CSOs seen by EC; FPAs: why and what next; Discussion on cross-cutting issues and Presentations of the FPAs in 3 different thematic working groups. One of the main message(s) at the kick off conference was that CSOs need to engage with each other and their authorities and that a good communication is needed both ways. The EC Task managers highlighted this as not just essential to understand what the projects are doing, but also to create additional coalitions, beyond those in the project’s partnership. One of the presented partnerships was the “Balkan Civil Society Acquis – Strengthening the Advocacy and Monitoring Potential and Capacities of CSOs” project lead by BCSDN. The networks members involved in the projects will be organizing national kick-offs in February/March. More information on the awarded projects and further updates will be available here.
