The project Together for Green Advocacy for Environmental Protection (ZZZ) was formally launched with the thematic forum “From Diversity to Justice – Equal Right to a Healthy and Sustainable Environment for All”, held at Europe House Skopje on 20 June. Led by the Center for Youth Activism KRIK, the Center for Social Initiative NADEZH, and the Association of Social Workers of Macedonia, the initiative focuses on ensuring environmental policymaking includes perspectives of young people and vulnerable groups. Supported by the Government of Switzerland through Civica Mobilitas, the ZZZ project addresses the intersection of environmental and social justice. It aims to develop a participatory model where young people and communities affected by environmental risks play an active role in shaping policy. The forum highlighted key challenges in mainstreaming social equity within environmental strategies and introduced planned activities including local consultations, advocacy efforts, and public outreach to promote inclusive, accountable, and sustainable environmental governance.
