Key reforms include securing the independence of public broadcaster RTV Slovenia, enhancing civil society consultations, and passing a law granting amnesty for COVID-19-related fines targeting protesters. Citizens now enjoy greater freedoms to associate, protest, and access information without barriers. However, challenges persist: CSOs face funding limitations and promised reforms to media legislation remain incomplete. Critics also highlight continued vilification of activists and journalists by opposition figures.
