Emphasizing the need for protected civic space and fundamental rights, BCSDN’s advocacy towards the EU is evident in monitoring and reporting on civil space threaths and the placement of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the CIVICUS Monitor watchlist. An opinion for European Western Balkans media platform highlighted concerns about democratic standards, and implications on human rights in the country. Further advocacy efforts included writing to MONEYVAL Chairs, exposing the misuse of anti-money laundering measures.
