CPDE, together with Action for Sustainable Development (A4SD), Forus, Coalition 2030, Zambia Council for Social Development, Accion Chile, Center for Human Rights and Development Mongolia, and the governments of Ireland, Zambia, Switzerland, Chile, and Mongolia, held a side-event to the UN HLPF titled “Inclusive Partnerships for a Resilient Recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic: Leaving No One Behind in the Voluntary National Reviews”. The 2023 UNHLPF marks the halfway point of the 2030 Agenda. Nevertheless, the efforts have fallen short of the ambition set in 2016. The COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated the situation, causing disruption in various areas such as health, education, gender equality, and finance. This has widened existing inequalities and created new imbalances. Inclusive VNR provide a valuable opportunity to assess progress in achieving the SDGs and the broader 2030 Agenda. Read more here.
