It also provides recommendations for policymakers to tackle these issues. The report found that both Russia and China have been utilizing propaganda and disinformation campaigns to promote their interests in the region, as well as investing in various industries to gain economic influence. The report urges for a coordinated approach to address these challenges, including improved transparency and accountability measures, greater cooperation between countries in the region, and increased public awareness of the risks posed by disinformation and illicit financial flows.
