On 18 January, MEPs adopted the resolution based on the Committee on Foreign Affairs’ annual report on implementing the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) for 2022. Part of the resolution refers to Serbia, where members of the EP expressed their regret for the resumed low level of alignment with the CFSP, especially regarding the war in Ukraine. It was also stressed that Western Balkan countries were strongly encouraged to align with the EU’s foreign and security policies, including sanctions imposed on other nations. Read more here.
