A recently published policy document, authored by a group of experts in the field of EU Integrations and Accession process, takes a deep dive into the long-term effects and short-term occurrences caused by the so-called New Methodology of EU Accession Negotiations. The document individually examines the current conditions and negotiations effects in each of the Western Balkan’s 6 counties, concluding how this new approach could be the ultimate test of the “geopolitical investment into the Western Balkans can be transposed into the achievement of the mutual goal of full edged membership”.
