Macedonia has made steady progress in adopting EU reforms, and MEPs call for the EU to hold a first intergovernmental conference with the country to mark accession negotiations’ formal start. MEPs express concern about Serbia’s new parliament’s functioning without opposition. They reemphasized the importance of alignment with the EU’s common foreign and security policy.
