The U.S. Embassy Podgorica/Public Affairs Office of the U.S. Department of State announces a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program. The Program supports initiatives that contribute to open and competitive political systems and the protection of human rights. Project proposals should address one of the priority areas: Protection of human rights and promotion of tolerance, especially among youth; Ethnic minority, LGBTQ, and gender equality; Women’s empowerment in the political and economic sphere. The duration period is 12 months. The lowest and the maximum limit for the grant is 10,000 and 30,000 USD. Read more here.
