Within the framework of the European Union/Council of Europe Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey II – action on “Promotion of diversity and equality in North Macedonia”, the CoE is launching a call for grants “Support to local self-governments and/or CSOs for combating hate speech”. The call aims to support selected grantees in developing concrete activities and responses on combating hate speech. Preference will be given to those that demonstrate strong collaboration and partnership between CSOs and local/municipal authorities. The indicative available budget is 10.000 EUR. CoE/ EU aims to award grants of a maximum amount of 5.000 EUR each. The implementation period should start on 1 April 2021 and shall not extend a period of 3 months. Read more here.
