In our newsletter, we gladly present our accomplishments for 2020. It has been a year of unprecedented challenges, encouraging us to be more resilient and effective. We completed a full monitoring cycle and published comprehensive reports about the civil society operating environment in the Western Balkans and Turkey. With the Regional Civil Society Hub, we launched a re-granting programme to support regional initiatives to advance the civic space; we also now provide prompt support for CSOs to address immediate civic spaces threats. We have continued to advocate for a more enabling civil society environment towards the EU and demonstrated accountable advocacy by publishing our Advocacy Strategy. Our work in promoting CSO accountability continued, and so has our contribution to global initiatives.
