MATRA program aims to use Dutch expertise in democracy, the rule of law, and human rights to contribute to social transformation, leading to a sustainable relationship between government and its citizens. The MATRA Program is demand-driven and supports initiatives of Albanian NGOs. The projects must promote transformation in the following areas: Rule of Law, Freedom of expression, media freedom and independent journalism, Anti-Corruption, good governance, and institutional democratization, and the specific topics that are of interest to the Embassy, provided in the Call. The project duration is 24– 36 months, and the overall budget should range between 60.000 and 120.00 EUR. Read more here.
