BCSDN is happy to announce it has launched a new website for monitoring the enabling environment for civil society development in the Western Balkans and Turkey. The new website is based on the comprehensive Monitoring Matrix tool, developed to assess the legal, regulatory, and financial environment in which CSOs operate. The website features present the MM findings more visually to assist users’ experience. The webpage incorporates the country reports for 2019, following the upgraded Monitoring Matrix methodology implemented by BCSDN Western Balkan members. The Monitoring Matrix research results are summarized into 2019 Country reports and a Regional report that offers a comprehensive overview of the policy and legal framework that governs civil society in the Western Balkans.
