Recently, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced that the EuroPride festival, which features a Pride parade, would not be held in Belgrade as planned next month. The reasons behind this are the “significant crisis in Kosovo “, depicted by economic problems and fears of clashes resulting from the threats from right-wing extremists. The organizers, CSO communities, and many of the announced performers scheduled to participate in the event have declared their intention to take over the streets and demonstrate support for the LGBTIQ+ community.
