This report, published by the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM), presents the main findings and recommendations of a series of local consultations with CSOs and business community on the implementation of the Albania’s anti-corruption strategy. It introduces the reader to the objectives of the assignment and methodological approach, followed by a brief description of the current state of affairs. The report presents the main issues discussed by participants in the 13 local forums organized across Albania between November-December 2016 by IDM, followed by a summary of key findings and recommendations. Recommendations presented in this report focus on addressing both concerns expressed by participants in the forums, as well as IDMs’ proposals for an alternative Anti-Corruption model.
