Civil Society Europe, with the support of CoQuality members, implemented the survey “Quality Standards and Quality Compliance Frameworks for Civil Society Organisations” to assess the level of knowledge regarding quality management within the European third sector, its integration into the agenda of Systems of Quality Certification (SGC) entities, and the extent of implementation of SGC models and references within NGOs in Europe. Key challenges include high implementation costs (78%), limited adaptation of tools to the civil society context (48%), and a strong demand for accessible learning spaces (90%). The findings underscore the need for better-aligned quality systems to support accountability, transparency, and impact in the sector. The survey also highlights high demand for learning spaces, 90% of respondents called for shared platforms to exchange best practices and build quality-management skills. Read more here.
