The Impact Standards for Financing Sustainable Development (IS-FSD), created by the OECD and UNDP, searches to fill the gap between high-level principles and the impact measurement and management frameworks and tools independently used by the organizations. The Standards provide donors, DFIs, and private investors a practical guide and self-assessment tool to integrate impact management into investment practices and decision-making. By following the Standards, all development finance actors can demonstrate their ambition to contribute towards SDGs and assess their positive and negative effects on people and the planet. The OECD-UNDP Impact Standards establishes on and complements existing work undertaken by other industry-led initiatives on impact management and measurement and follows the same structure as all the SDG Impact Standards proposed by the UNDP for different constituencies.
