Civil society is a key component of any democratic system and continues to be recognized as such by state institutions, states the open call for contribution towards the consultation process on the draft strategy for cooperation with and development of civil society, issued by the government of North Macedonia. The Strategy of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia for Cooperation with and Development of Civil Society, with Action Plan 2021-2024, aims to improve the environment in which civil society operates and develops, which contributes to strengthening democratic governance and establishing a structural dialogue. with civil society. The draft of this strategic document is a result of several months of activity of the Working Group composed of representatives of the General Secretariat of the Government, line ministries and civil society organizations.
