The Civic Resource Center (CRC) in Skopje recently hosted a networking meeting focused on action grants for local initiatives, bringing together grantees and partners from the civil sector in North Macedonia. This gathering confronted the persistent challenges facing organizations in inner Macedonia, where limited logistical access and scarce resources pose significant obstacles to effective operation. Participants praised the CRC for its essential role in navigating these issues, identifying it as a critical hub for information exchange, timely updates, and fostering connections among organizations. Svetlana Petkovska, representing the Organization of Women Bitola, underscored the valuable support provided by the CRC, including mentorship and training opportunities across various fields. The meeting concluded with a resounding message: substantial change stems from civic initiatives.
