The OKO Coalition has issued an urgent call to Serbia’s Ministry of Health to publish final decisions on two public funding calls that have remained in limbo for nearly a year. Despite ranking lists being finalized in April 2025, the ministry has yet to disclose the allocation of over 25 million RSD intended for preventive healthcare and Roma health services. The coalition warns that this lack of transparency is pushing CSOs into a “financial trap,” as some organizations were informally encouraged to start activities without legal contracts or secured funding. By demanding the immediate publication of award decisions and payment statuses, the OKO Coalition is emphasizing that government accountability is not just about following procedure—it is essential for the survival of the organizations providing critical services to Serbia’s most vulnerable citizens.
