MCIC, CSRC, and BCSDN are pleased to present the 7th edition of the MM on EE for CSDev, covering developments in N.Macedonia in 2019. According to the findings, the environment for development of the civil society was relatively enabling. The basic freedoms were guaranteed, with certain restrictions; there were no significant legal changes that influenced and supported the operations of CSOs; a few new laws are beneficial to CSOs work; the long waited comprehensive reform of the system for state funding for CSOs has progressed slowly, but state funding is still a non-recognizable source of income for CSOs, etc. The Report is part of the activities of the Project “Protecting Civic Space – Regional Civil Society Development Hub”, financed by SIDA and implemented by BCSDN in cooperation with its members in the Western Balkans.
