Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” – Skopje recently published a policy document authored by Dragan Tilev on the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance III (IPA III) 2021-2027 in the context of the significance of the mechanism in the accession process for the Western Balkans countries. The document notes that part of the IPA III is a new chance for the enlargement process to further advance in achieving its key policy goals. The author emphasizes the need of understanding the lines linking the accession negotiation process and the IPA III at the political and administrative level, as essential, in order for the country to be able to set strategic goals in good order and to invest its own budget funds for the most important priorities.
