The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) is consulting stakeholders on the development of the Online Knowledge Hub on civic space foreseen under the EU Strategy for Civil Society. The Strategy, adopted in November 2025, identifies engagement, protection and support as its three priorities and envisages the Hub as a mechanism for mapping and improving access to existing civic-space monitoring initiatives, protection mechanisms, tools and activities at local, national, EU and international levels. The consultation seeks feedback on users’ needs and preferences to ensure that the Hub is accessible and practically useful for actors working to protect civic space.
