The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) is inviting CSOs to share the challenges they faced in their day-to-day work related to civic space in 2025, along with suggestions on ways forward. The survey is open to CSOs across EU Member States, at EU level, as well as in enlargement countries including Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia. Responses will contribute to policy developments and long-term trend analysis, feeding into EU-level processes, including the implementation of the EU Civil Society Strategy. The questionnaire covers key topics such as the general situation of civic space, experiences of threats and attacks, financial sustainability, participation in decision-making, and the promotion and protection of civic space.
