Ethical Code for CSOs Bosnia and Herzegovina

After a long-term commitment by our BiH member, the Center for Promoting Civil Society (CPCD), to promote the adoption of the Code of Ethics for CSOs, the efforts have finally paid off. The ethical code covers a range of issues, including the need for CSOs to respect human rights, promote gender equality, act in a non-partisan manner, and ensure the sustainability of their activities, it has been signed by 107 CSOs by now. The code also requires CSOs to be accountable to their donors and the wider public and act with integrity and transparency in all their operations. CPCD highlights the importance of the Code for promoting the credibility and legitimacy of CSOs and notes that many organizations have already signed up for the campaign. Read more here.
