On 12 March, the European Economic and Social Committee’s Western Balkans Follow-up Committee will host a conference at Europe House Skopje, gathering organised civil society and social partners from North Macedonia, including BCSDN, together with EU representatives and national authorities to exchange views on key developments and priorities related to the country’s EU accession process. Topics will include the role of civil society in accession negotiations and the Reform Agenda, the state of social dialogue and the business environment, and the protection of civic space, media freedom, and efforts to counter disinformation. The conference aims to gather stakeholders’ views and convey them to national authorities and EU institutions. Registration is open via the official form until 6 March. Read more here.
