DG ENEST has launched a survey, through the EU-funded Hajde4EU project, to gather civil society perspectives on long-term challenges and opportunities for EU engagement across the Western Balkans and Türkiye and the Eastern Partnership. The consultation asks organisations to identify key regional trends and challenges up to 2035, explain how civil society plans to respond, and indicate where EU regional and multi-country engagement could add the greatest value, including under the next MFF 2028–2034. The survey seeks a cross-border rather than country-specific perspective, and organisations representing networks are encouraged to consult their members and submit a single consolidated response. Individual responses will remain confidential and will be reported only in aggregate. The deadline for submissions is 23 September 2026 at 24:00. Participate in the consultation here.
