The CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness (CPDE) published the Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFF) overview. INFF provides a country-owned financial framework to strengthen planning processes and support sustainable development financing at the national level. It empowers the national governments to analyze how to finance their plans and establish financing strategies with long-term national priorities. It can also prioritize financing policy actions and overcome current funding obstacles to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The document presents the INFFs’ role in financing sustainable development and a civil society perspective on the instrument and determines the INFF with regard to Covid-19. It also shows the concerns where country ownership might be at risk with, for example, the international community’s pervasive role, particularly the International Financing Institutions (IFIs) in the INFFs.
