The Kosovar Civil Society Foundation, held a conference on Citizens Participation in Kosovo on the 5th of October in Prishtina. This gathering was held within the framework of the project Empowering Civil Society Inclusion on Democratic Policy Making in Kosovo. Alongside with keynote speakers from Kosovo government and civil society there was a panel discussion dedicated to regional experience on civic participation where two other BCSDN members presented their experiences: Erisa Cela (IDM) and Miljenko Dereta(CI). This conference was financially supported by United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF).
This conference was also an opportunity to promote the new KCSF publications: Citizen Participation in Kosovo, Best European Practices on Citizen Participation and Manual on Public Consultation which will be available soon in English on KCSF webpage.
