In partnership with the Dutch foundation Mama Cash and the International Development Fund, the Bulgarian Fund for Women has announced an investment of nearly 2.8 million EUR in CSOs in Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Albania. The funding will support initiatives focused on feminist activism, women’s rights, and gender equality. The announcement came on International Women’s Day, to strengthen the capacity and resilience of CSOs in the region. The funds will be managed by the Balkan Community Network and the East European Center for Research and Development, in partnership with the Bulgarian Fund for Women. The initiative will also receive support from the European Commission’s Civil Society Facility and Media Program. Read more here.
