The CHS Alliance is committed to creating a safer and more accountable aid system by addressing power imbalances that can lead to sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH). Key initiatives include the PSEAH Index, which helps organizations assess their policies and practices for protecting vulnerable people, and the Harmonized Reporting Scheme, which improves transparency and reduces under-reporting of SEAH incidents. Additionally, the Misconduct Disclosure Scheme prevents abusers from moving between organizations undetected, and the Investigator Qualification Training Scheme strengthens local SEAH investigations. These initiatives aim to promote accountability and behavior change across the aid system, ensuring the protection of those affected by crises. By providing tools, guidance, and training, CHS Alliance helps organizations meet the Core Humanitarian Standard commitments. Read more here.
