The specific objective of this call for proposals is to enhance CSOs’ effectiveness, transparency and accountability, as well as their impact on improved freedom of opinion and expression, fight against corruption and CSOs’ cooperation with municipalities in addressing the needs of Roma community. The call also aims towards developing a strong regional partnership dialogue among civil society organisations from the IPA region, their EU counterparts and the public authorities. The proposed actions must address at least one of the four priorities/lots: 1) Strengthening civil society horizontal measures; 2) Freedom of Expression and Opinion, 3) Supporting civil society in fight against corruption and 4) Supporting cooperation of local self-governments and civil society in addressing needs of Roma community. The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is EUR 5,000,000. Any grant requested under each of the priorities must fall between the minimum EUR 200,000 and maximum EUR 500,000.
